I’m the founder of Unktok. I build AI systems, tools, and experiments that explore how research can be done differently. My work spans autonomous research, research evaluation, knowledge infrastructure, and metascience.

My background is in independent research, but my current focus is broader: building the systems and organizations through which new forms of research can happen.

I completed my master of research at the Department of Complexity Science and Engineering at the University of Tokyo, where I researched neural network learning dynamics. Prior to that, I received my B.A. in Economics at Keio University, where I studied economics, international relations, and neuroaesthetics.
